Multi-jet turbine velocity meters with a dry dial register enable flow measurement using five protected numbered rollers.

The fluid stream is distributed by an internal distributor and simultaneously impacts the turbine blades.

As an option, the meter can be fitted with a pulse output transmitter: K = 1, 10, 100 or 1000 litres per pulse (except for DN40 model: K = 10, 100 or 1000).
Caution: the transmitter must be factory-installed

Meters are MID approved in accordance with Directive 2014/32/EU Module B + D (replacing MID Directive 2004/22/EC).

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
Installation should be carried out at a low point on a horizontal or vertical pipeline, in an easily accessible location protected against frost. The 360° orientation of the totalizer must be set in the factory prior to sealing. The flow direction must correspond to the arrow marked on the meter body.

To allow proper pipeline draining, it is recommended to install a shut-off valve upstream of the meter, and a drain valve downstream of the meter.

After installation, fill and vent the pipelines in order to eliminate any residual air pockets (as trapped air may cause measurement errors and damage the meter).
For the same reason, the meter must never be allowed to run completely empty.
Operating conditions (pressure, temperature and flow rate) must comply with the meter specifications.

Never carry out welding work on the pipework while the meter is installed, as excessive temperature may damage internal plastic components.
