This solenoid valve allows control of water flow in a pressurized system by means of an electrical signal. Automation and regulation of a water level or dosing via remote control.

The solenoid valve consists of a diaphragm controlling the main flow passage and a piston operating the secondary circuit assisting closure.
In NC version (normally closed as standard), upstream pressure is used as back pressure to actuate the diaphragm and close the main circuit. When the coil is energized, the piston lifts and releases the back pressure, thus opening the circuit.
The piston raised during the actuation of the coil, releases the counter pressure thus allowing the opening of the main flow circuit.
This type of solenoid valve must always be installed on a pressurized pipeline, with a minimum ∆P of 0.3 bar.
